Bowls Presentations 2018

This was the first year that the Chameleons Bowls Club held a Presentation Event. The event was well attended by both players and their supporters. The event started with Cardiff Chameleons being officially presented with the certificate for the Insport Blue Ribbon Award, from Disability Sport Wales. This award confirms that Cardiff Chameleons Bowls Club has met the appropriate standards that this award requires and is committed to providing bowls facilities for people with disabilities.

Club winners and runners up of the pairs, singles competitions were presented with trophies. The singles winner 2018 is Naomi Baelz and the runner up is Gareth Howells. The singles shield was donated by the Daw family and will be known as the Daw Shield, it was presented to Naomi Baelz by the Daw family. The winners of the pairs competition 2018 were Naomi Baelz and David Pratt and the runners up were Gareth Howell and Antanas Schiastney. The Pairs Cup was donated by Louise Daw and will be know as the Louise Daw Cup. The Louise Daw Cup was presented to Gareth Howell and Antanas Schiastney by Louise Daw. 

The winner of the most improved player award was David.

An award for raising the most funds for the club was presented to Alan Beech.
